Browser Hijacking Info

Browser hijacking is done by a browser hijacker or can be known as malicious software that alters your Internet Explorer settings settings so that you are redirected to Web sites that you had no intention of visiting and flood of obscene pop-up windows assaulting you after a mistyped URL.

To avoid browser hijacker we must be cautious about freeware downloads, because some of them like spyware or adware, they are bundled together with freeware. Make sure our anti-virus is up to date, keep an anti-hijack 'toolkit' for emergencies or try alternate browser.
