May 12 2005 Diary Book version 1.9 now support category. You can save your diary file into the defined working category. There are 5 categories by default which are: Family, Friend, Work, Study and Other. You can add/remove your own category. The category present in tree view.

This version themed "Neo" so as you will notice it has neo skin & neo diary background. Also added some graphical icons.

More bugs free version. Now you can change the username and password without problem. Also removed some bugs that exist in Diary Book editor, such as the bugs in "Advanced Options" and "Passed Date Diary"

Diary Book version 1.8 make sure you are organize the information in efficient way by utilize the To-Do List. There are 5 categories for you to select which are: Family, Friend, Work, Study and Other. There is no limitations where you can add to each category. Each category support unlimited entries but you can only have total of 1000 entries for all categories. Also support the Search features for the records in your To-Do List.

Version 1.7 Diary Book becomes even more fun! You can now export the diary (not encrypted format) to HTML format file. If you think you do not like to store the diary using the default file format, now you can save it as HTML file to store it locally, or you can use our server TSM-Soft.org for free to publish your diary and share with other.

Changed the login way. Some people complaint that they can't find the button to enter, now you can enter by pressing the "Enter" key from your keyboard to enter the main program, no longer need to find any button.

Fixed the change name/password problem in Windows XP. Also the Picture Manager now supports JPG, JPEG, BMP, EMF and WMF.

Version 1.6.1 minor release. Modified some login coding, hope to fix that messy login problem. Add the frame in main form for you to add your photo, to make it more "look like" your diary book. And fixed the font selection bug, now your font selection will be stored.

Version 1.6 fixed some old and existed bugs, including the bugs in Alarm Clock. Now you can export your diary file content and send as email with both built in Diary Book mailer and your computer default email client. This built in mailer works with Diary Editor and Address Book. For diary editor, now you can choose encrypt or not encrypt the content, only work in 'Separated Diary file' mode. Added the function for you to import any TXT file from your local computer. Its still freeware. Recompiled and re-release again on date November 07 2002.

Re-release on 12 November 2002 now supported skin for main program and change background image for the Large Diary Editor. For skin it supports BMP and for Large Diary Editor it supports JPEG. Due to the size of distribution, therefore the skin and background image has been zipped. For skin, unzip the 'Unzip-Skin.zip' to 'Skins' folder and 'Image.zip' to 'Backgrounds' folder. You are welcome to design your own skin: Skin: Width: 600 Pixels, Height: 390 Pixels, save it as *.bmp. Background image: Width: 725 Pixels, Height: 425 Pixels, save it as *.jpg file. You are absolutely welcome to send your background image for me to make it available for other peoples. I will create the skin and background image maker soon.

Re-release on 12 December 2002 with special agent character like MS Office's Office Assistance that name Mr. Pencil. It does nothing but just play around on your computer. By the way, it also likes to sleep a lot...

Re-release on 23 January 2003 added 'Random Tips' and 'tried' to fix the login problem. Those user that cannot login for the first time you can try this and email me the result.

Version 1.5.2  added the Picture Manager. The previous Photo Manager doesn't work out but now the Picture Manager has come back and use only simple data structure to keep the picture and its description but its works perfectly although there are not many function can be added but still it can perform the basic task without any problem. Also fixed some Events Reminder bugs. Besides of this, another lite version of Diary Book has been created in this version. This lite version dropped all the pretty look form shape and replace by the default form shape, the size of program has been reduced a lot. But this doesn't mean for the next version of Diary Book will use this lite version, but it will have both versions for you to choose.

Version 1.5.1 is the minor release of Diary Book after version 1.5. In this version, addon the function for you to save the diary file for the passed date. If you ever miss any important diary on your life, now you can use this function to record it again. Bug fixed for diary editor. Last time when you save your diary, the program will automatically add the current date and time into your diary, but this function is not working properly until sometimes it will make your original content lose the position. Now this problem has been solved.

After I have collected all the suggestion and comments, I decide to upgrade it from version 1.4 to version 1.5. Basically all the upgrade is focused on the Diary Editor. Addon 9 new functions to this Diary Editor, such as launch last diary file when Diary load, display or not display the line in Diary editor, automatically enlarge when read the diary, automatically go to the Diary Editor page when program launch, save all entries in single diary file only or in separate diary file, color option for Diary Editor, play background music, search the diary file by date and display the diary file's date when the diary file is re-read. Got rid the Photo Album section because it doesn't work properly in all computers and also fixed some minor program bugs.

Base on the requirement of the users, therefore in this version 1.4, Events Reminder perform more heavy job! New Events Reminder support 30 or 31 entries for every single category in a month, and therefore it can remind you for around 150 events per month in all categories, and about 1800 events per year. Also some functions added to Diary Editor, such as enlarge the editor screen and Task Manager to enable the user to perform some automation task.

Version 1.3 is the newest version of Diary Book. Basically all the main function still remain unchanged but its has  been upgraded and added 5 categories for events reminder. The application security has been increased a lot, especially with Diary file, the content of the diary file has been encrypted, which mean only the Diary Book can read and write on your diary, other application are unable to read the content of your diary. Also the security to access the application has been upgraded into more sensitive. Add-on another heavy duty alarm clock besides of lite duty alarm clock. Also there is a Photo Album for you to manage the graphic in your computer in more systematic way. Some of the traditional form shape has been replaced by good looking form shape. Some nice graphic and effects to make the user feels more comfortable by using it. Another good news that is in this version, all bugs free!

Version 1.2 fixed some program bugs, especially on the Events Reminder. The weakness of the previous version is it just be able to delete one of the several expired events. In this version 1.2, the application able to delete all the expired events where the user edited and show the current events reminding after all the deletion. Another one of the new feature come with this version is an alarm clock. And I have added some good looking graphic into the application, hopefully it can make you feels more conformable using this software.
